Lunch and Learn for Prospective Healthcare Students October 22nd

Free event targets people interested in healthcare careers; featuring a distinguished panel

BUFFALO, NY –   A lunch seminar has been scheduled for prospective healthcare students by Bryant & Stratton College, established in Buffalo in 1854. The “Lunch & Learn” event will be held at the Buffalo headquarters of Health Now/Blue Cross/Blue Shield on Thursday, October 22nd from noon to 1pm.  It is a free event for those Western New Yorkers exploring a career in the burgeoning healthcare field.

“There is so much opportunity in the healthcare field in Buffalo. In response to the strong interest in this in demand career area, we are have assembled this panel discussion to shine a spotlight on the various professions that exist” explains Jeff Tredo, Director of New York State Campuses for Bryant & Stratton College, “our first session in WNY was in April where we had a distinguished panel of healthcare professionals, it was so popular that we are pleased to be bringing it back to the Blue Cross/Blue Shield campus.”

There will be a free lunch served to all guests.  The guest panel includes business professionals from Catholic Health, Kaleida Health, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Windsong Radiology.

All registrants will receive a special $500 qualifying grant to be used toward the January 2016 semester.

Anyone who has an interest in a career in medical administrative assistant, medical assistant, or medical coding and reimbursement should make a point of attending the October 22nd Lunch & Learn.  Reservations are required.  Call 716-507-4707 for information and to register.  Blue Cross/Blue Shield is located at 257 West Genesee Street in downtown Buffalo.  There is plenty of free parking available on-site.  The cut-off for reservations is Wednesday, October 21st by close-of-business.
