Sensory needs impact a child’s everyday behaviors and understanding a child or teen’s nervous system can seem overwhelming. Working from the idea that a person’s behavior is communication, you will learn techniques to address behavioral needs associated with your child’s sensory system.
While you do that, your school aged children will learn to regulate their sensory system through meaningful activities. Please note, young adults have a group all to themselves!
This is a collaboration with D’Youville College Occupational Therapy students.
Please attend during your child’s correct age grouping.
9:30-10:30 am: Ages 4-8 years old
11:00-12:00 pm: Ages 9-13 years old
12:30-1:30 pm: Ages 14 and up (games involved!)
Each age group will be entered to win a small prize drawing!
