Dr. Chad Teeters – Chief of Cardiology, Highland Hospital:
Dr. Teeters joined the Highland Hospital Cardiology Division in 2009 as the Chief of Cardiology. He holds advanced certification in vascular ultrasound and interpretation and has a special interest in peripheral arterial disease. He also specializes in non-invasive Cardiology including echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography and nuclear cardiac imaging.
Connor Knapp – Founder & CEO, Sterling Heart Care:
A former NHL player for the Buffalo Sabres & Philadelphia Flyers, Connor took a special interest in the healthcare industry upon retirement. He began exploring ways to address the ever increasing rates of preventable chronic diseases such as coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic syndrome. In collaboration with WNY cardiologists, the first Sterling Heart Care site was opened in Amherst, NY in October 2018
Sharon Cryan – Founder & CEO, Foodnerd:
Formerly an attorney, Sharon decided to follow her passion and pursue her vision to feed the world and empower people to use food as a form of self-love. Her goal is to provide the most nutrient dense, environmentally conscious food to people everywhere!
Moderator Shannon Traphagen, Associate Publisher of Buffalo Healthy Living Magazine:
Shannon has been writing about health, wellness, and healthy eating for more than ten years and has been the associate publisher of Buffalo Healthy Living for 5 1/2 years. Her passion and understanding for the way foods impact the body led her to briefly host a television segment called Food 411 for the Come Dine with Me WNY show. Outside of the magazine, Shannon is an author of a 5-star novel and speaker.
