NFJC Community Healing Awards

We are excited to announce the new NFJC Community Healing Awards Program which will air on our partner station WGRZ-TV on March 26th at 12 Noon. This event, now in its 70th year, will honor and recognize some of the many “Healers” who have been chosen because of their impact they’ve had on our community and how their contributions reflect the mission of the National Federation for Just Communities of Western New York. We are pleased to announced the following as this year’s Community Healing Award recipients:

 Pastor James Giles – Founder of Back to Basics Outreach Ministries
 Dr. Silvia Lloyd – Educator, Author and Creator of the online platform, Edusite Scholars
 Samantha White, Esq. – Attorney & President of the Minority Bar Association of WNY
 WGRZ-TV “Community Program”
 WNED-WBFO “What Next?” Program
 Emerging Healing Award: Grant Wang, 11th Grader at Williamsville North High School
