Oh, So Vein! How Vascular Health is Connected to How You Feel

September 20 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Catholic Health Sponsors Free* Dinner Program on Treatment Options for Vascular Disease

Vascular disease can affect anyone. Some circulation problems, like varicose and spider veins, aren’t life threatening. Others, like deep vein thrombosis and peripheral artery disease, can be. If you have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, or a family history of stroke or vascular illness, you may be at increased risk for vascular disease.

Catholic Health is sponsoring a free* dinner program entitled, “Oh, So Vein! How Vascular Health is Connected to How You Feel,” on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Michael’s Catering & Banquets, 4885 Southwestern Boulevard, Hamburg.

Join our panel of Catholic Health vascular experts, Julio Alvarez, MD; William Bevilacqua, MD; and Daniel A. Leary, MD, for dinner and a conversation about vascular disease. They’ll discuss the various conditions and symptoms, how to reduce your risk, and the latest screening and treatment options available. There will also be time to get your questions answered.

“Oh, So Vein!” is free* and open to the public. A complimentary dinner will be served. Reservations are required by calling Catholic Health’s HealthConnection at 447-6205.

*Catholic Health invites area residents to attend up to three free dinner programs per calendar year. After that, admission for each program is $20 and includes a three-course dinner.
