DESCRIPTION:Erie County will host two free drive-through rabies vaccine clinics in May 2026 at sites in the Town of Tonawanda and the City of Buffalo\, inviting pet owners to take advantage of this public health service to protect dogs\, cats and ferrets from this 100% fatal disease. \nSaturday\, May 2\, 2026\, 9 am- 1 pm\nTown of Tonawanda Highway Garage\n450 Woodward Avenue\nKenmore\, NY 14217\n(Located off Military\, North of Kenmore Avenue) \nSaturday\, May 9\, 2026\, 9 am- 1 pm\nBuffalo Public School #84 (Parking Lot)\n462 Grider Street\nBuffalo\, NY 14214\n(Located off Kensington Avenue\, on ECMC Campus) \nThings to know before coming to our rabies vaccination clinics\nRabies vaccine clinics \nDogs\, cats and ferrets\, ages 3 months and older\, are eligible for this clinic.\nMake sure pets are in a carrier or have on a collar and short leash. Do not use retractable or extended leashes.\nPut contact info on your pet’s collar and carrier.  Also\, consider having your pet microchipped.  Talk to your vet about this.\nUp to three pets will be accepted per appointment.\nBring proof of pet’s previous vaccination in order to receive a three-year vaccination certificate\, otherwise a one-year certificate will be given.\nPlease contact your veterinarian for vaccination information and for any questions you have regarding your pets.
