The Lackawanna Stakeholders Coalition invites you to our Fall Family Night Out event at Catholic Charities, 75 Caldwell Place, Lackawanna on Monday October 23rd, 2017 from 4-7pm.

Our second event, themed “Family Night Out,” will include family friendly activities from 4-7pm. Join us for cooking demonstrations complete with samples and recipes throughout the evening. Vote for your favorite healthy recipe! We’ll also have service providers on-site to connect the community with any needed services including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Journey’s End Refugee Services, Child Care Resource Network, Best Self, YourCare Health Plan, Catholic Charities, Erie County Department of Social Services, ECC One-Stop, Senator Tim Kennedy’s office, YWCA of WNY and many more (30 total)! Raffle prize tickets available for everyone that visits with providers. Health screenings will also be available from Trocaire College and Catholic Health. Connect with Rite Aid and get your flu shots that evening as well!

Enjoy kids’ activities throughout the evening. Assemblyman Sean Ryan’s office has also coordinated a Halloween Costume give-a-way which will be happening while supplies last during the event.

The Lackawanna Stakeholders Coalition is a collaborative group of individuals working to establish partnerships between businesses, non-profits, and municipal entities in the Lackawanna community and to advocate for, develop, and make accessible programs for all residents. The Coalition identified the need for a Community Resource Hub after seeing residents struggle to access human needs based services and valuable resources. A Hub brings together these services on a regular basis at a convenient location directly in the community. The Coalition had a “soft opening” a year ago and operates on a regular schedule of every first and third Friday from 9am-12pm. Our Fall “Family Night Out” is a special event at the Hub with family focused services.

The Coalition is convened by the Mobile Safety-Net Team, an initiative of the John R. Oishei Foundation.
