Dr. Allana M. Krolikowski Named CEO of Jericho Road, Succeeding Founder Dr. Myron Glick

Buffalo, N.Y. – Dr. Allana M. Krolikowski has been named Chief Executive Officer of Jericho Road Community Health Center (Jericho Road), the board of directors of the Buffalo-based health care organization announced today. Currently the Chief Medical Officer of Jericho Road, Dr. Krolikowski will succeed the founder of the organization, Dr. Myron Glick, who earlier this year announced his decision to step down from his role as Chief Executive Officer, but remain a family doctor and public health advocate with the organization. Dr. Krolikowski will assume her new position on October 6, 2025.
“This is an exciting moment in the history of Jericho Road,” said board chair Mark Herskind. “It was a daunting task to find the right candidate to succeed our visionary founder, Myron Glick, but we believe we have succeeded with Dr. Krolikowski. Throughout her life and her career at Jericho Road, she has impressed us with her competence, her commitment, and her compassion. In each role at Jericho Road, she has been a tireless advocate for our mission and those we serve. The board is confident that she is the right person to lead Jericho Road forward in these very challenging times.”
Raised in rural Western New York, Dr. Krolikowski received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences and Spanish and her medical school training at the University at Buffalo. She completed a Family Medicine Residency in Lawrence, MA. As a medical student, she was selected as a Pisacano Scholar through the Pisacano Leadership Foundation. She currently is a Medical Justice in Advocacy Fellow – a partnership between the American Medical Association and Satcher Health Leadership Institute at Morehouse School of Medicine.
Her connection with Jericho Road began in 2005 as an undergraduate intern. She later worked in the Jericho Road front office, completed her family medicine rotation with Jericho Road, and then returned as a physician in 2015. She has served as a Family Medicine physician in Obstetrics and in a succession of roles with increasing responsibilities, concluding with her appointment as CMO in 2019.
Dr. Krolikowski has practiced full spectrum family medicine in the office and hospital settings and is an Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics instructor. She is passionate about the impact of health policy on care provision and holistic care in disinvested communities. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in Family Medicine at the University at Buffalo. She has spent significant time in health-related assignments from Mexico to Tanzania to Ghana. She was also a founding faculty member for the first post-graduate family medicine training program in Malawi, while serving as a Peace Corps Response volunteer.
Dr. Krolikowski serves on the board of SNAPCAP Inc., a membership organization of safety net primary care providers in WNY, and the YMCA Buffalo Niagara. She lives with her husband and three daughters in Buffalo.
“For the past ten years, I have focused my work at Jericho Road on comprehensive primary care, health care capacity building, and advocating for health justice to advance health equity and access. I am passionate about our mission to care for our communities and advocate for systemic health equity in order to demonstrate the unconditional love of Jesus,” said Dr. Krolikowski. “I look forward to honoring the legacy of Myron and Joyce Glick, while leading Jericho Road in this next season to advance our mission.”
“From her first moments as a student intern two decades ago, Allana impressed me with both her intellect and her commitment to the underserved of the world,” said Dr. Glick. “Serving as a mentor and watching her grow and develop at Jericho Road over the past ten years has been a highlight of my career. I move into my new roles with the organization secure in the belief that Jericho Road is in very good hands.”
Dr. Glick and his wife, Joyce, opened Jericho Road Family Practice (JRFP) on Buffalo’s West Side, a private clinic in 1997. In 2003, they established Jericho Road Ministries, a faith-based organization, to work alongside JRCHC to address the non-medical, poverty-related needs in the Buffalo community. In 2013, JRFP and Jericho Road Ministries officially merged to form Jericho Road Community Health Center, earning designation as a Federally Qualified Health Care center.
The original small family practice has expanded into a dynamic organization with more than $40 million in annual revenue that today addresses the interconnected issues of health and poverty in some of Buffalo’s most underserved communities. Over the years, Dr. Glick and his team grew the organization to include five health centers in Buffalo, serving over 24,000 unique patients annually, and numerous community programs focused on addressing the needs of refugees, homeless asylum seekers, and pregnant women from under resourced communities.
Under Dr. Glick’s leadership, JRCHC began following refugees it had served here in Buffalo back to their home countries and expanded JRCHC’s services to include five global health centers three in Sierra Leone, and one each in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Nepal. At these clinics, JRCHC sees over 5,300 patients and delivers over 200 babies per month, while providing lifesaving surgeries, inpatient hospital care and a variety of important community outreach programs.
In March 2015, JRCHC assumed the assets and programming of Vive Shelter, which provides temporary shelter, legal assistance, and emergency services to homeless asylum seekers and their families. In 2024, JRCHC acquired a new home for Vive at 1500 Main Street after a successful $6 million capital campaign.
