D’Youville is set to host its annual Redfest from 7 to 11 p.m, Friday, September 24, at the city’s premier waterfront venue, Buffalo Riverworks.

Redfest, a D’Youville celebration held each year at the start of the fall semester, brings students together with an emphasis on making meaningful connections and setting the tone for a successful school year. Redfest is a family-friendly event and all alumni attending this year’s Homecoming & Reunion Weekend at D’Youville are invited to attend, as well.

The evening will include carnival rides, games and food, music by DJ Milk, a performance by Nik and the Nice Guys, Balloon Brother creative art balloons, a roaming magician, and a spectacular Skylighters firework display over the Buffalo river.

“Redfest is a moment we look forward to each year, and we are beyond thrilled to be coming together in such a fun and celebratory way,” says Lorrie A. Clemo, PhD, D’Youville President. “We are confident that our student body is ready for this safe return where we can honor our students and foster the long-lasting connections so many of them have with D’Youville.”

All CDC, state and local government safety guidelines will be followed.
