Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) Corporation is among America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery, according to research released by Healthgrades, the leading marketplace connecting doctors and patients. The achievement reflects ECMC’s outstanding clinical outcomes for orthopedic surgery, and puts ECMC in the top five percent of hospitals nationwide for overall orthopedic services. The hospital also received the 2023 Orthopedic Surgery Excellence Award™, a Five-Star rating in Total Knee Replacement in 2022 and 2023, a Five-Star rating for Hip Fracture Treatment for 13 consecutive years (2011-2023), and a 2023 Five-Star Distinction in Total Hip Replacement.
