Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center announced today that Mark J. Wright will join the medical center’s administrative team as senior vice president and chief financial officer effective Aug. 5.

Wright has extensive healthcare leadership experience, most recently serving as vice president of finance at A. O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta, a position he held for more than 20 years. He previously served as controller at St. Joseph Hospital in Elmira and as director of finance at Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortland.

Wright holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Siena College in Albany and earned designation as a certified public accountant while on the staff of Coopers & Lybrand in Albany.

A native of Oneonta, Wright also brings an extensive record of community service to Niagara Falls Memorial. He currently serves as board chairman for At-Home Care, a regional home health care non-profit agency, and has held board appointments on the Otsego Chamber of Commerce, Southeastern Otsego Health Center Board, Southern Tier Catholic Charities Food Bank and Oneonta Pee Wee Football.
