With Niagara County expecting a significant snowstorm beginning today and lasting through tomorrow, the Niagara County Department of Health announced that tomorrow’s, (Tuesday, February 16) vaccination clinic at Kenan Center has been postponed to later in the week.

This clinic was for those scheduled to receive their second dose. All appointments can be rescheduled for either Wednesday or Thursday at the Kenan Center. Those who had an appointment will receive an email from Niagara County Department of Health with registration links to secure a time slot for Wednesday February 17th or Thursday February 18th between 9:00am and 2:40pm at Kenan Center. If you do not have internet access, please call 211 to reschedule. For those that already have second dose appointments for February 17th or 18th, please keep your appointment time and date.

The Niagara County Public Works Department also announced that the planned closure of Slayton Settlement Road, just west of Quaker Road in Gasport has been delayed as well. The road was to be closed starting today for one week for bridge work. That closure is now delayed until next Monday.
