Windsong Breast Care Recognized as a Certified Quality Breast Center
November 19, 2020, WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – Windsong Breast Care is the only center in Western New York to receive the elite distinction of a Certified Quality Breast Center in the National Quality Measures for Breast Centers Program™ (NQMBC™). This is important news for all breast cancer patients since having this certification ensures staff must be familiar with existing standards of care as well as the latest advances in technology.
As a Nationally Accredited Breast Program of Excellence, Windsong Breast Care is held to the highest standards of care for patients with diseases of the breast. The team works together to provide the most efficient and contemporary breast care using scientific evidence to create an individualized plan of care for each and every patient.
Windsong Breast Care provides patients with a multidisciplinary approach to care beginning with early detection, to rapid diagnosis and consultation, through leading-edge treatment options, and a survivorship program. “As the first breast center in Western New York to receive accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), we take great pride in this additional recognition which measures our performance against other centers throughout the country,” said Dr. Katherine O’Donnell, Medical Director.
