BUFFALO, N.Y. — Offering access to comprehensive dermatology and treatment of benign disease, the Roswell Park Care Network welcomes physician and longtime faculty member Marcelle Grassi, MD, and her Cheektowaga practice as its newest location.

Patients under Dr. Grassi’s care can be seen for a variety of skin conditions — eczema, psoriasis, complex dermatitis, and acne — as well as benign growths and skin cancer. If a diagnosis of cancer is confirmed, the Care Network site also offers a direct link to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center’s personalized treatment options and clinical trials.

Board-certified in dermatology and a graduate of American University of Beirut in Lebanon, Dr. Grassi worked for years in private practice and spent two decades as a clinical instructor at Roswell Park’s main campus. In addition to seeing patients at the Walden Avenue office, Dr. Grassi will continue to work as a staff physician at the cancer center in downtown Buffalo once a week.

“Dr. Grassi’s broad expertise in both general and oncologic dermatology and her deep roots in Cheektowaga are an important addition to our community-based programs in the area, which encompass services at Roswell Park Dermatology in Depew and Roswell Park Hematology Oncology Southtowns in Orchard Park,” says Thomas Schwaab, MD, PhD, urologist and Roswell Park Chief of Strategy, Business Development and Outreach.

The Cheektowaga practice is located at 2560 Walden Avenue and can be reached at 716-651-0726. For more information on Roswell Park Care Network locations and hours please visit roswellpark.org/carenetwork.
