Community Awareness Briefing: Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (CP3) Department of Homeland Security (DHS)

Learn more about the CP3, the lead prevention program within DHS, which works with communities to help prevent acts of targeted violence and terrorism in schools, workplaces, public gatherings, and other settings. A review of the educational, technical, and financial supports that CP3 can provide to communities will be conducted, with the goal of helping to guide the establishment and expansion of violence prevention networks and resources, including behavioral threat assessment and management. CP3’s Invent2Prevent Program, which empowers students to create dynamic projects aimed at preventing targeted violence and terrorism, will be highlighted.
