Explore & More – The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum is pleased to offer everyone a pay what you can option for the entire month of October, thanks to a generous grant from the New Car Dealers of Western New York.

Michelle Urbanczyk, CEO of Explore & More states, “This year has been trying on our community. We wanted to find a way to invite families to play, learn and forget about everything that is going on, without having to worry about finances while they’re at it.”

Betty Murphy, Executive Vice President of the Niagara Frontier Auto Dealers Association states, “The New Car Dealers of WNY Charitable Foundation is pleased to help families enjoy all the museum has to offer by subsidizing entry fees so that cost is not a barrier. They know these are trying times for many WNY families, and want to offer them an affordable escape for a few hours of family fun.”

The Pay What You Can program covers many fantastic events planned in the museum throughout the month. On October 10th, we’re celebrating Farmers’ Day with our friends from Milk for Health; there’ll be butter churning demonstrations, the Dairy Princesses will be on site and there will even be baby cows that you can bottle feed (weather permitting)! Next up, STEM Saturday presented by National Grid takes place on Saturday, October 17th with fun STEM based activities taking place both in the museum and virtually. Finally, our Halloween Spooktacular presented by Hunt Real Estate takes place October 17th-31st with a spooky scavenger hunt throughout the museum where kiddos will get to take home their very own trick or treat bags filled with goodies, plus more!

The public is invited to pay what you can throughout the month of October. The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Advance ticket purchase is required. Tickets and more information can be found here.
