Need is critical across all Spectrum Health Locations

BUFFALO, NY – Spectrum Health and Human Services, a behavioral health and addiction counseling agency with multiple locations in Western New York, has a critical need to hire nurses in existing and new positions.

“Our nurses are a vital part of our person-centric care,” says Cindy Voelker, Associate CEO. “Nurses are part of the clinical team and are often the first team members that a client meets. Since mental health and physical health are intrinsically linked, the nurse’s engagement is a critical part of a client’s care plan.”

There is a key position to fill in Spectrum Health’s Niagara Falls office: Registered Nurse for the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. The ACT Team Nurse will provide leadership and guidance to the team in all preventative, ongoing, and critical health matters, and will coordinate all pharmacological services. The position requires a registered nurse with at least three years of professional experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting. Experience working with a multi-disciplinary mobile team would be helpful.

Other open positions include a Licensed Practical Nurse in, and Registered Nurses for the new rural Crisis Centers in Springville and Warsaw, and the expanded Medication Assisted Treatment program.
