BCN Sparkle with Hope Gala

The Breast Cancer Network of Western New York (BCN) is hosting its first Sparkle with Hope Gala on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the historic Forbes Theatre, 500 Pearl Street in Buffalo. Honoring the strength of breast cancer survivors, the event raises essential funds to help Western New Yorkers currently battling the disease. A cocktail reception and open bar at 6 pm features passed hors d’oeuvres and a premier silent auction, followed by a gourmet plated dinner and an inspiring program hosted by Kimberly LaRussa of Sweet Buffalo.

“When you join us for Sparkle with Hope, you aren’t just attending a party,” says Rob Jones, executive director of the Breast Cancer Network of WNY. “You are directly supporting our mission to provide emotional support, education, and tangible resources like our TLC Totes for WNY patients. It is a night to ensure no one has to face this journey alone.”

High-profile moments include the Hope for Tomorrow Diamond Drawing, where one lucky guest will win a stunning one-carat diamond. The evening also celebrates local achievements with the announcement of the Tree of Hope Research Award and presentation of the Volunteer of the Year award. A special Mission Moment will provide a heartfelt tribute to the strength and courage of local survivors and patients.

All proceeds from the event will benefit our community by supporting BCN’s essential wellness programs, support groups, and patient resources. Tickets are $150 per person, and include the open bar, dinner, and complete program. Attire is semi-formal, but attendees are encouraged to add a touch of sparkle to their outfits in keeping with the evening’s theme. See ticket and sponsorship opportunities at www.bcnwny.org/sparkle. A silent auction will begin for online bidding a week before the event.
