Becker Farms Kicks Off Fall Fun with Apple Thief Weekend
Becker Farms & Vizcarra Vineyards will kick off its apple-picking and fall fun season with Apple Thief Weekend on Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30. The two-day celebration will feature free family attractions from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., along with apple picking, food and Apple Thief beverages featuring a mix of hard ciders and Becker Farms’ house-brewed beers.
Apple Thief Weekend marks the last free weekend before Labor Day and the start of the school year, giving families one more opportunity to enjoy Becker Farms attractions before weekend visits transition to ticketed admission. Families can enjoy 340 acres of scenic farmland and activities for visitors of all ages, including wagon rides through the forest, the playground, petting zoo, and giant jumping pillow.
Guests can also explore the Country Market, Beer Garden and Brew Pub, where they can enjoy comfort food, seasonal beverages, and time together with family and friends. As apple-picking season gets underway, visitors can also pick their own apples and enjoy Becker Farms’ famous hand-rolled donuts, offering a chance to experience some of the best of late summer and the beginning of fall at the farm.
“Apple Thief Weekend is a two-day celebration packed with free admission and free kids’ attractions – it’s a steal,” said Melinda Vizcarra, partner and co-owner of Becker Farms. “Families can enjoy all the fall activities while adults can relax with a $5 pint of Apple Thief, The Sweet Thief, or the Grape Thief and enjoy these final days of summer. Apple Thief Weekend takes place Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30, with kids’ activities available from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Apple picking and hand-rolled donuts will also be available for purchase. Guests can continue to visit the farm Monday through Friday without a ticket.
Beginning after Apple Thief Weekend, weekend admission to Becker Farms’ fall attractions will be ticketed, while weekday visits remain available without admission tickets.
