Horizon Health and Endeavor Health Services are excited to announce a newly formed collaboration that will be known as Horizon Health Alliance Network (Alliance). The coordinated network was formed in response to the growing need for more comprehensive behavioral health services throughout the Western New York region. As the Alliance’s inaugural affiliate,

Endeavor Health Services will continue to operate independently, as they work together to collaborate in four key areas — data analytics, training, DEIB Strategies (diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging), and marketing.

“We are excited to join forces. Every person deserves high quality care in their own community, and through the Alliance we will be able to do this more effectively. Sharing resources will enable us to improve overall operations and patient care,” said Elizabeth Mauro, CEO, Endeavor Health Services.

“Social isolation caused by the pandemic, coupled with difficult economic times, has negatively impacted our community’s mental health and increased the misuse of drugs and alcohol. This affiliation will bring together some of the best behavioral health professionals in our area to address the growing need for more comprehensive care and eliminate barriers to patients seeking treatment,” said Anne Constantino, CEO, Horizon Health.

The Alliance will employ over 1,000 people who provide services to 30,000 patients. Horizon currently operates 196 inpatient beds for addiction treatment, and 13 outpatient counseling and psychiatry practices in Erie, Niagara, and Genesee counties. Endeavor Health Services, which operates in five Western New York counties, has a primary focus on outpatient child and adolescent mental health counseling and community-based services. Horizon was founded in 1975. Endeavor was founded in 1972.
