Buffalo 60 Somethings: Age is Just a Number
baby boomers to appear in 2021 buffalo calendar

Twelve Buffalo residents in their sixties have been chosen as “pin-ups” to appear in front of Buffalo landmarks on an exclusive 2021 calendar highlighting local activities, Medicare events, and health tips. A panel of local celebrity judges selected the 60 Strong Ambassadors because they have overcome major health issues, competed at the master level in their sport, or dedicated their lives to fighting for a cause or helping others.

Each resident has a unique story, exemplifying how life after sixty can be positive, active, and vibrant. In addition to appearing on the calendar, they will inspire others with their stories during an online Medicare information event on Monday, November 2 from 3-6 pm at https://www.seniorcareadvantageone.com/medicare-101-events.

Buffalo 60 Strong Ambassadors are Lynette Barney, Mary Bonner, Karen Calandra, Linda Gellman, Dean Hyder, Ronald Killinger, Kim McWilson, and James “Ozzie” Osiadlo of Erie County; George Cretekos of Allegany County; and Gerald Buchholtz, Jill Gonzalez, and Shaila Kokil of Niagara County.

Buffalo 60 Strong is a celebration of seniors who show grit and resilience while inspiring others to live life to the fullest, sponsored by Buffalo Medical Group in conjunction with the launch of Senior Care Advantage ONE, a new approach that provides quality healthcare to seniors. To RSVP to hear the ambassadors’ stories and get your questions answered by a Medicare expert, visit www.seniorcareadvantageone.com. Buffalo 60 Strong calendars are available for pre-order at www.Buffalo60Strong.com at a cost of $15 per calendar. All proceeds will benefit Hospice and Palliative Care Buffalo, to provide medical care, social, emotional, and spiritual guidance and comfort for families and their loved ones facing end-of-life.
