The no-registration format allows for participants of all ages and abilities to drop into any class at any location, making it a great opportunity for new and longtime participants alike to try a new class. The YMCA-certified instructors are able to modify exercises for seniors and those with limited range of motion or other health concerns.

“Get there a few minutes early, introduce yourself to the instructor and have that conversation on any concerns or movement limitations you have,” said Michelle Carbery, senior corporate wellness specialist at Independent Health and Fitness in the Parks instructor. “Fitness in the Parks is meant for all levels. Go in with no expectations. Just have fun and enjoy getting outdoors.”
