The Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers (BFNC) is hosting an event called Healing Together, a BIPOC, Faith, and Community Learning Series — The Faith Community Role or Responsibility: Mental Health and Trauma in Communities of Color. The workshop is intended for faith-based community leaders and members, grassroots leaders, behavioral health providers, volunteers, and caregivers. Those who attend will be provided with resources and support to address mental wellness and trauma in communities of color. This free event included lunch, and takes place on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 11 am to 2 pm at BFNC’s Moot Center, 292 High Street, Buffalo NY 14202. Registration is required, either at Eventbrite, or by emailing Hope Isom at hisom@bnc.org.

BFNC is also hosting BFNC Fall Fest: A Community Outreach Event for All on Friday, October 6 from 4 pm to 8 pm, at 76 Orange Street, Buffalo NY 14204. Fall Fest will feature activities for all ages, music, a petting zoo, health screenings, and a wealth of community resources.

BFNC is a community agency that has been serving our community for over 125 years with comprehensive, coordinated, family focused human services and programs that help uplift and empower people living in low-income and disadvantaged neighborhoods throughout Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Lockport, New York.
