BUFFALO, NY — NOVEMBER 3, 2025 — The Western New York Independent Living, Inc. (WNYIL) Family of Agencies is pleased to announce the appointment of Katie Morreale, CPA, as Chief Financial Officer.

In her new role, Ms. Morreale will oversee all financial operations across the WNYIL Family of Agencies, leading a finance department of ten professionals and managing fiscal oversight for the organization’s multi-county network.

Before joining WNYIL, Ms. Morreale spent a decade as Vice President of Finance at BestSelf Behavioral Health, Inc. Her earlier experience includes finance and audit roles with Sorrento Lactalis, Inc. and Chiampou Travis Besaw & Kershner LLP. A Certified Public Accountant, she earned her degree in Accounting from Niagara University, graduating summa cum laude.
