The Eyes On America Foundation, Dr. Ephraim Atwal, and Atwal Eye Care to Donate Surgeries
Dr. Ephraim Atwal, the Eyes On America Foundation, and Atwal Eye Care will donate cataracts surgeries at 1 pm Tuesday, November 3, 2020, for Alonso Ovieda who is originally from El Salvador. They will also perform surgery on and Vietnam Veteran Gerald Faraci. Both surgeries will occur at Atal Eyecare, 3095 Harlem Road, Cheektowaga.

Mr. Ovieda had one cataract surgery in 2017 by Eyes On America Founder Dr. Kenneth Anthone. He will now receive his second cataract surgery by Dr. Ephrain Atwal.
Mr. Faraci will receive cataract surgery on both eyes and says he is excited that he will now be able to drive at night. Mr. Faraci served in the US Army from 1965 to 1967.
