Horizon Health FREE Educational Seminar: Cannabis 101

This presentation aims to cover ALL the basics of cannabis as a plant, product, medicine, and potential drug of abuse. Accurate and factual drug information will be shared including basic botany, cannabinoids, and mixed effects based on both plant and consumer variables. The overall risk / benefit profile of this substance will be reviewed including the effect of THC vs. CBD, signs of intoxication / overdose / dependence / withdrawal, and medicinal vs. recreational cannabis. Lastly a preliminary introduction of the endocannabinoid system will assist with understanding the widespread effects cannabis has on the brain and body, particularly during adolescence.
