Supporting Healthy Living And Relationships During The Transition To Adulthood

This workshop will discuss ways to support young adults with I/DD in establishing healthy lifestyles and will share an opportunity for young people to participate in free health class as part of the STEPS2 study.
The STEPS2 team from CUNY School of Public Health is offering free personalized health education sessions for young adults aged 16-27 with Autism and other developmental disabilities. The sessions are either about dating, sexual health and self-advocacy at the doctor or about healthy eating, exercise, and stress management. Sessions meet on Zoom for one hour per week for six consecutive weeks. Participants also earn $100 for completing four interview surveys ($25/interview).
