Excelsior is proud to offer our 2020 Patient Education Seminar series utilizing video conferencing. See the Q & A below to learn how to participate.

How This Works – Common questions:

Q. How do I register to attend this virtual patient seminar?
A. Simply complete the reservation form below and click submit.

Q. How do I access the virtual patient seminar?
A. Our team will collect your email address and will send all who register a link to join the video conference. This link will be emailed out on the morning of the talk.

Q. I have never used a Zoom meeting, how do I use the meeting link?
A. On the day and time of the scheduled patient seminar, simply click on the Zoom meeting link we sent you via email and you will be admitted into the video conference.  If this is your firs time using a Zoom meeting, we recommend you watch this brief video tutorial, which will walk you through the steps to join a meeting: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362193-How-Do-I-Join-A-Meeting-  We also recommend you login to the meeting about five minutes ahead of the planned meeting. We will plan to start promptly at 7pm. 

Q. Can I participate on my phone without a computer or smartphone?
A.Yes, the meeting invite will include a telephone number with a meeting ID and password. You can simply access the meeting on a phone and listen to the presentation.

Q. Will others in the meeting be able to hear me?
A. No, the host of the meeting will mute all guests.  This will ensure that the presenting physician is not interrupted by any background noise and all in attendance can hear the presentation.

Q. Will others in the meeting be able to see me?
A. You have the ability to turn on or off your video control from you computer or smartphone.

Q. Will I be able to ask questions?
A. Yes, at the conclusion of the presentation you will be able to use the chat (text) function within the Zoom meeting platform to type any questions you might have for the presenting physician. We will do our best to address all questions submitted.
