List compiled from employee survey on work culture and inclusivity ranks cancer center at 11th in New York

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has been named to Forbes’ 2022 list of America’s Best Employers by State, based on an anonymous worker survey about workplace culture, benefits and inclusion.

Ranking at number 11 on Forbes’ list of top New York State employers, Roswell Park is the only Western New York healthcare center to be named to Forbes’ 2022 list of best employers by state.
Forbes worked in partnership with research company Statista, anonymously surveying more than 70,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 500 employees across 25 industry sectors.

“It is an honor to be named in this group of top New York State employers,” says Errol Douglas, PhD, Chief Human Resources Officer at Roswell Park. “We have come a long way to accomplish this milestone but know the work to grow as a team and reach our goals as a Roswell Park family are part of a continual effort to listen, act and improve.”

Surveyors asked employees about pay and workplace safety as well as inclusive culture, remote-work benefits, the wage gap for women, and initiatives around diversity, equity and inclusion. In all, the list ranks 1,382 employers across the country that received the most recommendations.
